Georgette Comuntzis Page has had over 19 years of higher education teaching experience and has worked with children and families in many different environments. As an Associate Professor in 黑料正能量 School of Education, she inspires future teachers in courses pertaining to child development, creative arts, and family-community engagement. In addition to her undergraduate and master鈥檚 work in art education, Georgette received her Ph.D. from the University of Utah in Visual Communication, concentrating within the fields of visual media and developmental psychology. Georgette鈥檚 research interests led her to work at Sesame Workshop as the Coordinator of Formative Research for Sesame Street. She has contributed chapters to several books and continues to publish articles on visual media and young children鈥檚 spatial intelligence. Her current research interests focus on the Project Approach as well as the Reggio Emilia philosophy, particularly concerning the aesthetic aspects of early childhood learning environments.
