Students in both the School of Exercise Science & Sport and the School of Nursing experience hands-on Performance Learning opportunities in specialized spaces that house cutting-edge learning opportunities and advanced technology.

The Exercise Science and Sport Pavilion is a central location for students to fully immerse themselves in their academics through Performance Learning. This facility housed inside Health Sciences Center provides over 200 students with a central location to study Exercise Science, Physical Education, Sport & Recreation Management and Athletic Training.
The modernized space features a state-of-the-art athletic training room dedicated to the most up-to-date training practices, an exercise physiology lab with equipment for research opportunities and 2,000 square feet of rubberized gym flooring for strength and conditioning sessions, return-to-play assessments and training.

The Campbell Family Nursing Simulation Lab is a freshly renovated and newly opened learning space for Millikin Nursing students. The area includes four simulation rooms, two control rooms, two debriefing rooms and a health assessment lab. Nursing students are able to develop basic and advanced nursing skills in a safe environment prior to caring for patients in a hospital or community setting. Performance Learning comes to life with the use of advanced simulation technology, including state-of-the-art adult, pediatric, and infant simulators.
Pipe Dreams Studio Theatre is also located in this facility.
