Millikin University’s School of Social Sciences invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of Psychology beginning August 2025.  Area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates who specialize in social psychology. Potential courses include Social Psychology, Social Cognition, and Research Methods.  Additionally, the candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate teaching, faculty-student research, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The candidate will teach four courses per semester depending on the applicant’s expertise and departmental needs. In addition to teaching, faculty will be expected to advise and mentor Psychology majors; publish scholarly work; and engage in university service.

A PhD in Psychology is required for this position.  ABD will be considered.
