  • The search for the 17th President of Millikin University is underway with leading the initiative.

Under the leadership of its current President, Dr. Jim Reynolds, and with the creative collaboration of faculty, staff, students, alumni, community members and the Board of Trustees, Millikin has made significant progress on many fronts. Millikin University is currently in the second year of its Strategic Plan, 鈥淭he Millikin Difference,鈥 2023-2027.

      Millikin is an independent, four year university that is privately funded and has an enrollment of approximately 1,800 students in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

      Our University is big on personality. The same goes for our city. Millikin University is located in Decatur, Ill., with a population of approximately 70,000 residents. Our students don't just live in Decatur; they get involved.
  • In the spirit of and in accordance with Illinois law and our charter, the has the fiduciary responsibility for oversight of Millikin and the selection and evaluation of the President. The Board is committed to ensuring that plans are in place for excellence and the long-term sustainability of the institution. While the Board of Trustees holds the final authority in decision-making at Millikin, the Committee will involve Millikin community members in the process by hosting listening sessions for input.
