M.F.A. in Photography - The Academy of Art University

Johnny Power in an Instructor of Arts Technology and Administration Department at Millikin University. He also serves as the instructor for 1901 Productions, Millikin's film production company as well as Assistant Director of the Perkinson Arts Gallery and the coordinator for the Annual A.C.E High School Art Show and Workshops.  In addition Power is on the Public Arts Committee for the Decatur Arts Council, which chooses artist and works that will become murals in Decatur Illinois. 

Professional Experiences: Owner/Director of the Ten 5 Art Gallery, Owner of Power Photography Inc. In addition to this Power has created photography and design work for bands, galleries and clubs.

Johnny Power came to Millikin in 2013 as an Adjunct Instructor in photography. Since that time, he has become an Instructor in the Arts Technology and Administration Department, where he instructs students in the disciplines of photography, cinema and film, stop motion animation and 2D design.

In addition to educational work, Johnny has also had his photography and printmaking displayed in several galleries and alternative locations.
